Clemson Parade 2019: It will be held Saturday, Jan. 12 in Clemson at the intersection of College Avenue and Keith Street. The parade will start at 9 a.m. and eventually end at the east of Memorial Stadium, where the stadium celebration will kick off at 10:30 a.m.
The route will then take a right onto Calhoun Drive and finally take a right onto Fort Hill Street where it will end at the east side of Memorial Stadium. Players, coaches, administrators, invited guests, tiger band, cheerleaders, rally cats, mascots and many more are expected to celebrate.
The parade will go down Highway 93, move to Calhoun Drive and will head to Fort Hill Street before ending up at Memorial Stadium, the home of the Tigers. Clemson earned its second title since 2016-17 with a 44-16 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff National Championship tilt in Santa Clara, California, Monday night.
The parade will be followed by a celebration at the stadium, starting at approximately 10:30 a.m. Gates to the stadium will open at 7 a.m. for the free event, which will include speeches from current players and coaches. Members of previous championship teams are expected at the parade.
The parade will kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of College Avenue and Keith Street and then travel toward State 93 in front of Bowman Field. From there, it will take a right onto Calhoun Drive and a right onto Fort Hill Street to end at the east side of Memorial Stadium.
Clemson will celebrate its second college football national championship in three years with a parade and stadium gathering on Saturday. The forecast calls for a high temperature of 40 degrees on Saturday, with an 80 percent chance of precipitation, mostly in the afternoon. Bring your warmest orange coat.
